1. Payment
1.0 — Payment for bookings may be made by either of the following methods:
(a) Online payment gateway — via the secure checkout on our booking platform or the payment link on your invoice. Online payments are processed only by our authorised payment providers, which currently include PayTabs, Network International, and Tabby (instalment payments), and — for bookings made through our booking platform — Trust My Travel Ltd, which acts as merchant of record on behalf of Ya Halaa Limited. Depending on the provider used, the charge on your card statement may appear under the provider’s descriptor rather than “CTS” or “Ya Halaa.” We will never send payment links from third-party or personal accounts.
(b) Bank transfer — to the following account:
| Account holder | Ya Halaa Limited |
| Bank | Wio Bank PJSC, Abu Dhabi, UAE |
| Account currency | AED |
| IBAN | AE090860000009531543112 |
| BIC/SWIFT | WIOBAEADXXX |
| Account number | 9531543112 |
| Routing code | 808610001 |
1.1 — All prices are quoted and payable in AED (UAE Dirhams), regardless of the client’s home currency. Any currency conversion, foreign exchange rate, or international transaction fee applied by the client’s bank or card issuer is the client’s responsibility and does not reduce the amount payable to CTS.
1.2 — Prices are stated inclusive or exclusive of UAE VAT as indicated on the quotation and invoice. A tax invoice showing our Tax Registration Number (TRN 105336205700003) is issued for every payment.
1.3 — Bank transfer charges, intermediary bank fees, and currency conversion costs are the responsibility of the client. The full invoiced AED amount must reach our account.
1.4 — Instalment payments (Tabby). Payments made through Tabby are subject to Tabby’s own terms of service, which form a separate agreement between the client and Tabby. Cancelling a booking does not by itself cancel the client’s payment obligations to Tabby; those obligations are adjusted only once any refund due under this policy has been processed to Tabby. Where a non-refundable rate is purchased through Tabby, the full price remains payable to Tabby in accordance with the client’s instalment plan, even if the booking is cancelled or unused.
1.5 — A booking is confirmed only once payment (or the agreed deposit) has been received in full and a written booking confirmation has been issued by CTS.
1.6 — Fraud notice: Our bank details will only ever be communicated on an official invoice issued by CTS, and our payment links only through our official booking platform or authorised payment providers named above. We will never notify you of a change of bank account by email or message alone. If you receive any communication claiming our bank details have changed, do not pay — verify first by writing to info@yahalaa.africa and awaiting confirmation from that address.
1.7 — By making payment, you confirm that you have read and accepted this Payment & Refund Policy and our Terms & Conditions.
2. Cancellation & Refunds — Tours & Transportation
2.1 — All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@yahalaa.africa. The effective cancellation date is the date on which written notice is received by CTS.
2.2 — Refunds are calculated from the effective cancellation date to the start date of the first booked service:
| Notice given before service start | Refund |
|---|---|
| 30 days or more | 100% of the tour/transport amount |
| 16 – 29 days | 50% of the tour/transport amount |
| 15 days or fewer | No refund |
All refunds are subject to the payment processing deduction in clause 4.5.
2.3 — Non-refundable rates. Certain rates — including discounted, promotional, special, and last-minute rates — are sold as non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of the date of purchase or the date of cancellation. This applies to all rates identified as “non-refundable” on our booking platform, product listing, quotation, or invoice at the time of booking.
2.4 — Where a non-refundable rate is booked:
(a) the non-refundable condition is displayed on the product listing and at checkout before payment is completed, and your completion of the booking constitutes your express acceptance of it;
(b) no refund, credit, or transfer to another date, service, or person is available for any reason, including illness, visa refusal, missed flights, or change of plans — clients are strongly advised to hold travel insurance covering cancellation;
(c) the refund tiers in clause 2.2 do not apply; and
(d) the only exceptions are cancellation of the service by CTS, or the force majeure provisions in clause 6.
2.5 — The applicable cancellation conditions for each booking are those stated on the booking platform or invoice at the time of booking. If no condition is stated, the tiers in clause 2.2 apply.
3. Cancellation & Refunds — Accommodation
3.1 — Accommodation refunds are subject to the following:
| Notice given before first check-in date | Refund |
|---|---|
| 60 days or more | 50% of the accommodation amount |
| 59 days or fewer | No refund |
All refunds are subject to the payment processing deduction in clause 4.5.
3.2 — Accommodation refund limits reflect non-recoverable deposits and commitments made to accommodation providers on your behalf at the time of booking.
4. Refund Processing
4.1 — Approved refunds are paid by bank transfer, except where the rules of the payment processor, card scheme, or instalment provider require the refund to be returned through the original payment channel (for example, refunds to the original card, or refunds of Tabby purchases processed through Tabby), in which case the refund is processed through that provider.
4.2 — Bank transfer refunds are paid only to a bank account held in the same name as the person or entity that made the original payment. The client must provide accurate account details in writing; CTS is not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect details supplied by the client. Refunds cannot be issued in cash or to third-party accounts.
4.3 — All refunds are calculated and paid in AED. CTS is not liable for currency conversion differences, exchange rate movements, or fees applied by the client’s receiving bank or card issuer.
4.4 — Refunds are processed within 14 business days of written confirmation of the refund amount and receipt of valid bank details. International bank and card processing times may add additional days beyond our control.
4.5 — All refunds are subject to a payment processing deduction of 5% of the refund amount, reflecting non-recoverable payment processing, gateway, and bank costs incurred by CTS. Any charges applied by the client’s own receiving bank or card issuer are additionally the client’s responsibility.
5. Changes, No-Shows & Unused Services
5.1 — Requests to change dates or services are subject to availability and supplier conditions and may incur amendment fees, which will be confirmed in writing before any change is made.
5.2 — No refund is payable for no-shows, late arrivals, or any service, tour, transfer, or accommodation night that is booked but not used.
6. Force Majeure
6.1 — CTS is not liable for changes to or cancellation of any booking caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: pandemics or epidemics, government-imposed travel or entry/exit restrictions, natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, civil unrest, or the failure of a third-party supplier.
6.2 — In such cases, CTS will use reasonable efforts to offer alternative dates or services, or a credit toward future travel, and will use reasonable efforts to obtain date changes, waivers, or refunds from the suppliers concerned. Credits and cash refunds in force majeure situations are limited to (a) amounts recoverable from suppliers, plus (b) amounts paid for services not yet committed to suppliers. Where a supplier applies its own cancellation policy to a force-majeure-related change, the resulting non-recoverable amount will be communicated to the client transparently and deducted from any credit or refund.
6.3 — All clients are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical costs, and repatriation before travel.
7. General
7.1 — This policy forms part of, and must be read together with, the CTS Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
7.2 — This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute arising from it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi.
7.3 — This policy is available in English and Arabic. In the event of any inconsistency, the English version prevails.
